V.  Lord open thou our lips,
R.  And our mouths shall show forth thy praise.

Glory be to thee O Christ our King.

Support me, O Lord, according to thy word and I shall live
Let me not be disappointed in my hope.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit.
Support me, O Lord, according to thy world and I shall live!

V.  Holy Father St Benedict, our patron, pray for us:
R.  That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.

Let us pray: 
Rekindle in thy church, O Lord, the Spirit whom our holy father St Benedict followed and obeyed:  filled with that same Spirit may we love what he loved and live as he taught, through Christ our Lord.  Amen.
